Home is more than what we can imagine.
It is something complex, transcending space and time. We can feel it with our senses. We can connect with it through the physical environment, whether built or natural. It spans from the past, through the present, and into the future.
However, is it real? If home can transcend space and time, can it also exist in a digital or dream state? Something unreal? There is a fine line between dream and reality. We don’t know — in this vast world, anything is possible.
Home can be your own interpretation; it can be anything you can imagine. The underlying implicit message is that our world is dying, and it is up to the audience to interpret how to respond. Through experimental video using LiDAR scanning and point cloud data, we are trying to recontemplate the meaning of home.
