Hi, I’m Theresia Lydia, you can call me Lydia, an interior designer with a passion for creating thoughtful, well-crafted spaces. I completed my Master of Interior Design [With Distinction] at RMIT University in Melbourne, and I also hold a Bachelor’s in Interior Design from Tarumanagara University, Jakarta, where I was honoured as the top graduate.

Over the years, I’ve worked on a variety of projects across the Asia-Pacific, collaborating on everything from developing initial concepts to being involved in the construction stage. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong attention to detail and a deep commitment to delivering designs that not only meet the brief but also inspire connection and creativity.

I’m always excited to learn new things, collaborate with others, and bring spaces to life that resonate with people.


WORK EXPERIENCE

Lead Interior Designer [Contract]
November 2023 – January 2024
Greater Group, Melbourne, Australia
  • Led a contract-based airport duty-free retail project [approximately 2,500 m²]
  • Managed and coordinated a multidisciplinary team of over 13 members, including 3D artists, graphic designers, and interior designers
  • Collaborated with and reported directly to Design Directors in Asia and Melbourne to deliver design concept, 3D visuals, and material selections aligned with brand and operational standards

Interior Designer
July 2017 – January 2023

  • Recognised as Star Employee of the Year [2022] for outstanding performance and cross-regional collaboration
  • Delivered end-to-end design solutions across retail, hospitality, and workplace projects in the Asia Pacific region, including Pandora [100+ stores], Heinemann [Macau, Japan, Malaysia, Melbourne], Matahari, Maxx Coffee, CIMB Niaga, Delifrance Singapore, Aurex, and Whiskers N Paws
  • Collaborated with global offices to ensure design outcomes aligned with brand, operational, and construction standards
  • Produced detailed documentation sets and FF&E specifications, and coordinated with suppliers to ensure project quality and efficiency
  • Maintained the materials library to optimise workflow and improve resource management
  • Supervised and mentored junior interior designers, coordinated cross-functional teams of 3D artists, graphic designers, and interior designers, and reported directly to the Design Director Asia
